Built in the 1970s as part of the World Expo ‘74, the Riverfront Park Pavilion offers a variety of activities year round from ice skating to mini golf. During the spring and summer months, the pavilion is converted into a covered outdoor amusement park. Many of the rides can be enjoyed even if it's raining.  While geared mainly for those under 12, the Pavilion Amusement Rides have something to offer everyone. Come join us today for some family fun!

Loose articles are not allowed on the following Riverfront attractions:  Area 51 Inflatable, Tilt a Whirl, Dragon Coaster, Sizzler, Spider, Rockin Tug and KKars.  A loose article is an item such as cell phones, hats, cameras, stuffed animals, umbrellas, beverage containers, personal entertainment devices, purses, backpacks, etc. that could during the normal course of ride operation leave the ride vehicle and potentially cause a safety concern for guests and/or the attraction if not secured.

Riverfront Park will not be responsible for any items left unattended.

Mini Rockin Tug

It’s called the Mini Rockin’ Tug and it’s geared towards younger kids, up to age 10, although adults can ride too!  The 12 passenger Mini Rockin Tug gently rocks back and forth and spins.  Minimum height 42” or accompanied by an adult.

The Spider

Our giant spider spins around and the legs move up and down. This makes for an exciting ride of spins and twirls! (Under 42 inches tall must be accompanied by an adult.)

The Sizzler

Our fastest Pavilion ride moves at speeds up to 70 mph! If you enjoy constant motion and the wind in your hair, the Sizzler is a must! (Minimum height 36 inches; 36 inches - 52 inches tall must be accompanied by an adult.)

Dragon Coaster

This unique kiddie coaster packs a powerful punch at take-off, sending riders into a fast downward spiral! It has the feel of a much larger roller coaster. (Under 42 inches tall must be accompanied by an adult.)

Ferris Wheel

Enjoy a spectacular view of Riverfront Park from the Ferris Wheel! This large rotating wheel has suspended seats that stay horizontal as the wheel rotates. (Under 48 inches tall must be accompanied by an adult.)

Tilt-a-Whirl

On this exciting ride, passenger cars move independently of each other on a circular track. This sends riders into a frenzy of spins and twirls! (Under 42 inches tall must be accompanied by an adult.)

Red Baron

Fly high in one of these colorful bi-planes. Riders control their elevation using a hand lever. Each plane can accommodate two children.  (Minimum height 36".  Maximum height still 54 inches.)

Berry-Go-Round

A whirling delight for all ages! The Strawberry cars spin on a center axis. Riders can use their steering wheel to spin even faster! (Under 36 inches tall must be accompanied by an adult.)

Bumper Cars

Small electric cars surrounded by a rubber bumper travel across a metal floor. Little ones can have fun bumping into each other. (Minimum height 42 inches.)

Kiddie Bumper Boats

Your little one can be the captain of his own ship! These battery powered boats sail in an above ground pool. (Minimum height is 30 inches. Maximum height is still 54 inches.)
