Catch the brass ring on one of America’s most beautiful and well preserved wooden carrousels. Spokane’s 1909 Looff Carrousel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. A visit to our Looff Carrousel makes a great field trip. Our hand-carved wooden carrousel features 54 horses, 1 giraffe, 1 tiger, and 2 Chinese dragon chairs. You can further enhance the learning experience for your students by downloading the Looff Carrousel Education Guide. The education guide contains history, trivia, interesting facts and a copy of the National Register of Historic Places Nomination Form.
