Riverfront Park is ready to share the unsurpassed beauty of our 100 acre park as the destination for your next outdoor event. We can accommodate a broad diversity of events from private family gatherings to massive community events for thousands and everything in-between. We are Spokane’s largest centrally located outdoor setting and offer a variety of venue options. Class reunions, weddings on the floating stage, corporate picnics, fun-run’s or closed access concerts - we have become Spokane’s premier destination for outdoor fun. Couple this with our fantastic park food catering options and perhaps a private rental of the Carrousel and you have the makings for a memorable event. Our event team will work with you to aid in the planning of your gathering and as well provide valuable insight with regard to the logistics of events at Riverfront Park.
Private Gatherings
Private gatherings for families businesses and organizations are coordinated through our Group Sales department. They will guide you through the ins and outs of planning a wedding at Riverfront Park, picnic shelter rentals, banquet facilities rentals and ice palace rentals as well as birthday parties and educational offerings. We encourage you to review our Facility User Guide in order to familiarize yourself with our pricing structure and special use information. Public Events
For public events including fun runs, concerts, festivals, movie filming and more, please contact our Events Coordinator, Dale Larsenvia e-mail or call 509.625.6624. Prior to contacting us however, we encourage you to review the Facility User Guide as well as the Special Use Information Guide, the Outside Food and Beverage Policy, the City Permits Rules and Regulations, the Animal Event Ordinance and the Riverfront Park Smoking Policy. This information will get you well on your way to planning your event at Riverfront Park. When you are ready to proceed, complete the Special Event Permit Application and a copy of a site plan on the Riverfront Park Map and mail the completed information, along with a $50.00 non-refundable processing fee to:

Please make checks payable to: Riverfront Park. The $50.00 processing fee (non-refundable) does not guarantee approval. Submit your Special Event Permit Application 30 - 90 days prior to your intended event. Applications received less than 30 days prior to your event may be denied or subject to additional fees. It will take 20 days after the receipt of your application to determine if your event will be approved.
